This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit qilver.in or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. Qilver is the jewellery brand of Hardev Singh Jewellery House, Shop No. 122, Phase 10, Sector 64, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali), Punjab 160062, India. Hardev Singh Jewellery House is responsible for your data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

In short

We collect only what we need to deliver your order and look after you.
We never sell your personal data.
Razorpay handles payments. We never see or store your card or UPI details.
You only get marketing messages if you ask for them, and you can stop them at any time.

What we collect

When you order: your name, delivery and billing address, phone number, email, what you bought and how you paid. We never get your card or UPI details.
When you sign up for offers: the email address or phone number you give us.
When you contact us: your messages and anything you send with them, such as photos for a return.
When you browse: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and similar data, collected through cookies and similar technology.

Why we use it

To take payment, pack and deliver your order, and keep you updated about it.
To answer your questions and handle returns, exchanges and re-plating requests.
To send offers and news by email, SMS or WhatsApp, but only if you opted in. Every message tells you how to stop.
To understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising.
To prevent fraud and meet our legal, tax and accounting duties, including GST records.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the cart and checkout. We also use analytics and advertising cookies, including the Meta pixel for our Facebook and Instagram ads, to understand visits and measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the store still works without advertising cookies.

Who we share it with

We share your data only with the services we need to run the store, and each may use it only for that job:

Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout.
Razorpay, which processes payments.
Our courier and shipping partners, who need your name, address and phone number to deliver.
Our email and messaging providers, for messages you opted into.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure and improve our advertising.
Government authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these services process data outside India, as Indian law permits.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records: as long as GST and other Indian laws require.
Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe.
Analytics data: combined into anonymous totals or deleted within 26 months.

How we protect it

The site runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection. Payments go through Razorpay's PCI-DSS certified systems. Only the people who need your details to fulfil your order can see them.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
correct, complete or update it;
delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it, for example for tax records;
withdraw a consent you gave, for example to marketing;
nominate someone to use these rights on your behalf.

Email support@qilver.in with the subject "Privacy request" and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Qilver is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without a parent's or guardian's consent.
